Palliative Pain and Symptom Management Consultation Service
The Palliative Pain and Symptom Management Consultant (PPSMC) is an RN with advanced knowledge in Hospice Palliative Care. Palliative Pain and Symptom Management Consultant (PPSMC) provides consultation, education, support, and coaching/mentorship to health service providers in our community for the following target sectors:
- Primary Care
- Long Term Care (LTC)
- Retirement Homes
- Hospice Residences
- Home and Community Care Support Services – Central East
- Group Homes
The Palliative Pain and Symptom Management Consultant (PPSMC) advances expertise in the delivery of palliative care for all disciplines (regulated and unregulated) across the continuum of care, for all life-limiting diagnoses and all ages, from pediatric to elderly.
